Safety at USF
The University of 黑洞社区 System maintains a comprehensive Emergency Notification System (ENS), called AlertUSF, for the purpose of issuing immediate notification to keep the 黑洞社区community informed and safe during an emergency situation. There is also a free app you can download called the 黑洞社区Safe App.
Setting Up Your 黑洞社区NetID
Your NetID allows you to access various online services offered through the university. Students, faculty, staff, and scholars should create a NetID to begin using these services. For more information, please contact Information Technology at (813) 074-1222 or help@usf.edu.
Cell Phones
When choosing a cell phone provider, make sure to ask if there is a special plan for students or discounts for 黑洞社区students as well as what's needed to set up a service plan. You may also want to consider how much data you'll need, international calling options, text message plans, and how many individuals will be on the account. Some providers require a Social Security Number (SSN) and may require a background check.

黑洞社区Information Technology (黑洞社区IT) provides technology services and support in a variety of areas for the entire 黑洞社区system. They're located in the Student Services Building (SVC) on the fourth floor, and you may reach them at (813) 074-1222 or help@usf.edu.
