Hurricane Recovery Resources for Students

黑洞社区recognizes academic, financial and personal challenges that some students are experiencing as the result of Hurricanes and other natural disasters, and we want to help you. If you have been impacted, please utilize the resources provided below for assistance from both 黑洞社区and in the community.  We will try to keep these resources updated as we get specific information regarding specific storms.

Mental Health Resources

Professional counselors are available 24/7 through the Tampa campus Counseling Center at 813-974-2831 (select option 3 after business hours) and St. Petersburg campus Wellness Center at 727-873-4422 (select option 2 to make an appointment).

Additionally, all enrolled students can conveniently access 24/7 free mental health services with behavioral health professionals through TimelyCare's TalkNow service. 

 


Academic Support Resources

  • Learning support in writing and other subject areas is also available both remote and in-person at all 黑洞社区campuses.
  • Reach out to your academic advisor to schedule an appointment or access the virtual drop-in portal . Graduate students should contact their major professor or the graduate program director. Department-specific graduate program directors are .
