Overview

USF's Muma College of Business is proud to partner with and the Center for International  Education at the to allow students an opportunity to earn a four-year American degree while remaining in Lima, Peru. This partnership also allows USF's stateside students an avenue to study abroad and take ºÚ¶´ÉçÇøclasses — taught by ºÚ¶´ÉçÇøfaculty members who also teach in Tampa — while studying in Peru.

Classes are taught by ºÚ¶´ÉçÇøbusiness faculty, in English, at the . These courses are taught at a faster pace at USIL, with twice-daily lectures and extended study sessions.

Peru Students Get 2 Degrees in 4 Years

During their four years of study, students attend classes at the Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola in Lima.  Students first earn an associate's degree from Broward College then move on to earn a ºÚ¶´ÉçÇøbusiness degree in the major of their choice.  To be admitted to the ºÚ¶´ÉçÇøMuma College of Business, all students must successfully complete the seven  pre-requisite courses and requirements to be admitted to the Muma College of Business, which generally means all core "principles" courses (financial and managerial accounting, macroeconomics and microeconomics, a calculus course, a statistics course and business computers course) have been completed with at least a C- and GPA of 2.0 on all seven required courses.  A minimum overall 2.5 is required. 

Tampa Students Can Study Abroad

Stateside students from the ºÚ¶´ÉçÇøMuma College of Business have the opportunity to travel to Peru to study at the Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, paying the same ºÚ¶´ÉçÇøtuition rate as they pay in Tampa. Students are able to live, shop, and study in Lima, Peru. Students must commit to spending at least one semester in Peru.

ºÚ¶´ÉçÇøcourses offered in Peru are the same courses taught at USF's Muma College of Business and are taught by business school faculty members who travel to teach the accelerated courses at USIL or to deliver courses in an online format.
