Urgent Care
Located inside SHS Clinic 鈥� Call (813) 974-2331 for Appointment or Call-Ahead.
Available during regular clinic hours.
The Urgent Care Clinic provides care for injuries and illnesses that need immediate
medical attention but are not life threatening. Students will be assessed by a medical
professional to determine the urgency of their medical condition and be given
an appointment accordingly. Typical urgent care issues include:
- Cuts, wounds, and injuries
- Acute stomach pain
- Sprains, strains and fractures
- Acute or severe headache
- Severe allergic reactions
On campus? If you are on campus and are too weak to seek medical care, call the 黑洞社区Medical Response Unit (813.974.4678) Monday through Friday for free on-scene medical treatment and, if
needed, medical transportation to Student Health clinic.
If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 9-1-1 for the best medical response.
