University of ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø researchers, in conjunction with local law enforcement agencies and the Florida Sheriff’s Association Cold Case Commission hosted the second annual Missing in Florida Day. The goal of the event is to help solve violent crime cold cases through anthropology, scientific research, education and forensic art.

‘What Lies Beneath’ exhibit showcases investigation of unmarked burial grounds in Hillsborough County
The exhibit includes mixed media sculptures, historic and modern photographs, archival documents, and maps depicting the approximate locations of newly re-discovered burial grounds in order to help convey the story of the buried past.
