Five Women In Engineering Win 2020 ºÚ¶´ÉçÇøGolden Bull Awards
Presented by the ºÚ¶´ÉçÇøCenter for Leadership and Civic Engagement, the award is one of USF’s highest honors and is given to 20 undergraduate and graduate students who exemplify exceptional leadership and service to USF. Five of this year's awardees are women of all degree levels in the College of Engineering.

Ysela Llort is 2019 Florida Transportation Hall Of Fame Inductee

Jim Mihelcic Receives 2018 Charles R. O’melia Distinguished Educator Award From AEESP
Professor James Mihelcic, PhD, BCEEM, the Samuel L. and Julia M. Flom Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Engineering at the University of ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø, recently received the 2018 Charles R. O'Melia Distinguished Educator Award from the Association of Environmental Engineering and Science Professors (AEESP). Established by AEESP in 2012, this award is given annually to recognize the significant contributions of Professor Charles R. O'Melia 1934-2010 to environmental engineering education. It is awarded to an environmental engineering or science professor who has a record of excellent teaching in the classroom and through graduate student advising; significant research achievements that have contributed to environmental engineering knowledge; and an outstanding record of influence through mentoring of former students and colleagues.

Bob Hartnett To Receive 2018 Transportation Award
Bob Hartnett, TEAMFL President and CEO, will receive the 2018 Florida Transportation Hall of Fame Award at the 16th Annual Center for Urban Transportation Research (CUTR) Transportation Achievement Awards event on November 1, 2018, at the University of ºÚ¶´ÉçÇø Embassy Suites Hotel on the Tampa Campus. Hartnett's selection was announced by Thornton Williams, CUTR Advisory Board Chair and Managing Partner of the Williams Law Group P.A., Tallahassee.
