Yogi Goswami And Molekule Awarded BioFlorida鈥檚 Inaugural COVID-19 Innovation Award
BioFlorida is an organization that connects a network of emerging and established life science companies, universities, research institutions, hospitals, medical centers, and more. This year, BioFlorida announced an award titled the COVID-19 Innovation Award and recognizes a Florida company that has made significant advances in the fight against COVID-19. The first winner of this inaugural award is none other than Distinguished University Professor and director of the 黑洞社区Clean Energy Research Center, Dr. Yogi Goswami and his company Molekule.

Air Purifier Technology Created By Distinguished University Professor Yogi Goswami Gets FDA Approval
This April, the Molekule Air Pro RX was cleared by the Food and Drug Administration as a Class II Medical Device. The device uses the same technology as Molekule鈥檚 consumer air purifier models 鈥� technology created by 黑洞社区Clean Energy Research Center Director, chief scientist and co-founder of Molekule, and Distinguished University Professor, Yogi Goswami, PhD.

Engineering Faculty Leading USF鈥檚 COVID-19 Response Efforts
This April and May, nine projects led by 黑洞社区engineering professors were funded during two rounds of the 黑洞社区COVID-19 Rapid Response Grants program created by the 黑洞社区Pandemic Response Research Network 鈥� an interdisciplinary initiative organized by university leadership and faculty researchers to quickly respond to current and future pandemics.
