The ºÚ¶´ÉçÇøCollege of Education was awarded a $1 million grant by the Florida Department of Education to develop a new series of oral history resources that will be used by educators, school districts and the public as part of Florida’s revised civics education curriculum.

ºÚ¶´ÉçÇøAlumna Sarah Ann Painter, Elementary Education `02, was named the Florida 2022 Teacher of the Year by the Florida Department of Education. Painter is a fifth-grade teacher at Eisenhower Elementary School in Pinellas County, Fla.
