ºÚ¶´ÉçÇøPreschool for Creative Learning teacher receives 2019 NAECTE Outstanding Early Childhood Practitioner Award

TAMPA, Fla. (October 16, 2019) — ºÚ¶´ÉçÇøPreschool for Creative Learning teacher Eloah Decat, `15 & M.Ed. `17, was selected to receive the National Association of Early Childhood Teacher Educators (NAECTE)’s 2019 Outstanding Early Childhood Practitioner Award.

The NAECTE is a professional organization whose members come from all across the U.S. and countries around the globe and who are joined together by a common interest in Early Childhood Teacher Education. The NAECTE Outstanding Early Childhood Practitioner Award celebrates meritorious leadership and professionalism in early childhood teacher education. Recipients demonstrate leadership, professionalism, self-reflective practice and mentoring as part of their work in the field.

A two-time graduate of the College of Education, Decat received her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education in 2015 and a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction in 2017. She currently teaches VPK students in the Holly classroom at the ºÚ¶´ÉçÇøPreschool for Creative Learning.

Decat will be recognized at the NAECTE annual meeting in Nashville, Tenn. in November.
