Thanks to School of Social Work Assistant Professor of Instruction David Kilmnick, PhD, MSW, the 黑洞社区Pride Employee Resource Group (ERG): LGBTQ+ Faculty and Staff Association has been approved and officially established. Kilmnick is the contact with 黑洞社区Human Resources and serves on the leadership team working with faculty from the Muma College of Business and 黑洞社区Health.
The mission of the 黑洞社区Pride ERG is to foster an inclusive environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) employees, enabling authenticity and optimal performance, thus fostering a sense of belonging at USF. The Pride ERG also supports USF's diversity goals by supporting the recruitment and retention of LGBTQ+ staff and faculty.
Over the last 30 years, Kilmnick has worked tirelessly to end homophobia and transphobia by building successful non-profit organizations that support and advocate for the LGBT communities in Long Island and New York City.
The 黑洞社区Pride ERG is open to all 黑洞社区employees who support the group's vision and mission.
