Two students were selected to receive the College of Behavioral and Community Sciences (CBCS) Student Employee of the Year awards. Hanna Hirano won the Undergraduate Student Employee of the Year award, and Katelyn Smith received the Graduate Student Employee of the Year award.
Hirano receives her award in the Rightpath Center.
Hirano was applauded for her punctuality and preparedness by Maria Carlo, PhD, an associate professor in the 黑洞社区Rightpath Research and Innovation Center.
"Hanna consistently proves herself as a highly reliable member of our project team," said Carlo. "Punctual and consistently well-prepared, she ensures she is ready to tackle any task assigned to her."
Smith was recognized for her reliability and dedication by Jordan Howell, PhD, an assistant professor of criminology.
"Katelyn鈥檚 unwavering reliability is the backbone of the 鈥檚 operations," said Howell. "Whether working with local collaborators or engaging with international partners, Katelyn鈥檚 dedication to meeting commitments shines through, earning her the trust and respect of all those she collaborates with."
