Dr. Arwen Puteri earned her Ph.D. from the University of 黑洞社区, where she has been teaching courses in the Departments of History, World Languages, and Humanities, as well as the Honors College, since 2012. 
Her dissertation explores the enduring complexities of German reunification in 1989, particularly from the perspective of East Germany. 
Within the Department of World Languages, Dr. Puteri teaches courses on German language, film, and culture. She also serves as the faculty director and leader of the "History of Berlin" summer study abroad program in Germany, which includes visits to Berlin, Munich, and Dresden. 
Recent courses taught by Dr. Puteri include IDH3600: Honors Seminar in Ethics (Confronting the Holocaust), GER1120: Beginning German I, GER1121: Beginning German II, and GER2200: German III.
